Mavin De Silva, a student in the WISE Program at Nakayama Laboratory, completed a collaborative research internship at the Sekimoto Laboratory, Center for Spatial Information Science (CSIS), The University of Tokyo, as part of a five-month split research program connecting New York University (NYU) and The University of Tokyo. The research stay represents a continuation of Mavin\u2019s ongoing collaboration with Professor Takahiro Yabe at the Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP), New York University, and extends the first phase of his research on the socio-economic impacts of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. While the earlier phase focused on causally quantifying how EV charging stations influence nearby commercial activity, the current phase advances the research toward understanding how individual EV users make charging-station choices and how these decisions collectively shape charging demand across an urban area. During his stay at The University of Tokyo, Mavin worked on a research project titled \u201cDeveloping a Behaviorally Grounded Agent-Based Model of EV Charging Station Choice and Urban Charging Dynamics.\u201d The primary objective was to develop an Agent-Based Model (ABM) capable of representing heterogeneous EV users and simulating their charging-station selection behavior under different travel, charging, and urban-environment conditions. The research conducted at Sekimoto Laboratory provided an important opportunity to combine urban spatial information science, behavioral modelling, causal inference, and agent-based simulation within a unified research framework. The collaboration between Nakayama Laboratory of Nagaoka University of Technology, The University of Tokyo, and New York University also establishes a strong foundation for future research on EV charging infrastructure, human mobility, and sustainable urban transportation systems. This collaborative research program represents an important step toward building a longer-term research partnership between the three research groups and developing new interdisciplinary approaches for understanding how emerging transportation technologies interact with cities, businesses, and individual travel behavior.<\/p>\n<p>\u6982\u8981<\/p>\n<p>\u5353\u8d8a\u5927\u5b66\u9662\u30d7\u30ed\u30b0\u30e9\u30e0GD5\u5e74Mavin De Silva\u3055\u3093\uff08\u4e2d\u5c71\u7814\uff09\u304c\u6771\u4eac\u5927\u5b66\u306b\u3066\u300cEV\u5145\u96fb\u884c\u52d5\u306e\u30a8\u30fc\u30b8\u30a7\u30f3\u30c8\u30d9\u30fc\u30b9\u30e2\u30c7\u30eb\u306e\u958b\u767a\u30fb\u7814\u7a76\u300d\u3068\u3044\u3046\u30c6\u30fc\u30de\u3067\u30d7\u30ed\u30b8\u30a7\u30af\u30c8\u30ea\u30fc\u30c0\u30fc\u53cd\u5fa9\u5b9f\u7fd2\u3092\u884c\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f<\/p>\n<p>\u5353\u8d8a\u5927\u5b66\u9662\u30d7\u30ed\u30b0\u30e9\u30e0GD5\u5e74Mavin De Silva\u3055\u3093\uff08\u4e2d\u5c71\u7814\uff09\u304c2026\u5e744\u67081\u65e5\u304b\u30897\u670831\u65e5\u307e\u3067\u306e\u7d044\u30f6\u6708\u9593\u3001\u6771\u4eac\u5927\u5b66\u7a7a\u9593\u60c5\u5831\u79d1\u5b66\u30bb\u30f3\u30bf\u30fc\uff08CSIS\uff09\u306e\u95a2\u672c\u7814\u7a76\u5ba4\u306b\u3066\u30d7\u30ed\u30b8\u30a7\u30af\u30c8\u30ea\u30fc\u30c0\u30fc\u53cd\u5fa9\u5b9f\u7fd2\u3092\u884c\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u4eca\u56de\u306e\u7814\u7a76\u6ede\u5728\u306f\u3001\u30cb\u30e5\u30fc\u30e8\u30fc\u30af\u5927\u5b66\u90fd\u5e02\u5316\u5b66\u30fb\u30b7\u30f3\u30dd\u30bb\u30f3\u30bf\u30fc\uff08CUSP\uff09\u306e\u77e2\u90e8\u9686\u5f18\u6559\u6388\u3068\u306e\u7d99\u7d9a\u7684\u306a\u5171\u540c\u7814\u7a76\u306e\u4e00\u74b0\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u96fb\u6c17\u81ea\u52d5\u8eca\uff08EV\uff09\u5145\u96fb\u30a4\u30f3\u30d5\u30e9\u304c\u3082\u305f\u3089\u3059\u793e\u4f1a\u7d4c\u6e08\u7684\u5f71\u97ff\u306b\u95a2\u3059\u308b\u7814\u7a76\u306e\u7b2c1\u6bb5\u968e\u3092\u3055\u3089\u306b\u767a\u5c55\u3055\u305b\u308b\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002 \u524d\u671f\u306e\u7814\u7a76\u3067\u306f\u3001EV\u5145\u96fb\u30b9\u30c6\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u304c\u8fd1\u96a3\u5546\u696d\u6d3b\u52d5\u306b\u4e0e\u3048\u308b\u5f71\u97ff\u3092\u56e0\u679c\u95a2\u4fc2\u306b\u57fa\u3065\u3044\u3066\u5b9a\u91cf\u5316\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u7126\u70b9\u3092\u5f53\u3066\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u304c\u3001\u4eca\u56de\u306e\u6bb5\u968e\u3067\u306f\u3001\u500b\u3005\u306eEV\u5229\u7528\u8005\u304c\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u5145\u96fb\u30b9\u30c6\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u3092\u9078\u629e\u3059\u308b\u304b\u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066\u305d\u308c\u3089\u306e\u6c7a\u5b9a\u304c\u96c6\u5408\u7684\u306b\u90fd\u5e02\u570f\u5168\u4f53\u306e\u5145\u96fb\u9700\u8981\u3092\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u5f62\u6210\u3059\u308b\u304b\u3092\u7406\u89e3\u3059\u308b\u65b9\u5411\u3078\u3068\u7814\u7a76\u3092\u9032\u3081\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002
